On January 14, at the Villas Caroline Hotel in Flic en Flac, the election of Miss Elegance and Miss Talent took place for the final of Miss Environment International 2022. Among the eleven girls who were in the running during this evening, Lauranière Petit and Pooranee Permalloo emerged from the lot to compete for the titles of Miss Elegance and Miss Talent respectively.
Expressing oneself naturally on stage by interpreting local and international songs was not enough to get the title of Miss Talent, It was also necessary a beautiful body expression ӑ through dance. And in this talent game, Pooranee Permalloo was the most impressive in front of the jury.
To be crowned Miss Elegance, it was not enough to do well on the catwalk. The candidates also had to make their own dress (home-made) and parade in one of them. The jury was amazed by the elegance of all the participants and chose Lauranière Petit.
The final of Miss Environment International 2022 which is organized by Freedom Events Communication Ltd will take place at the Villas Caroline Hotel on February 11 from 7:15 pm. The winner of the final will represent Mauritius at Miss Environment International, in India, in March 2022.
Note that the Republic of Mauritius has received the request to host the second edition of Miss Environment International in 2023.
