Dev Sunassy, the spokesperson for the Platform for Free Expression, swore an affidavit in the Supreme Court on Wednesday, December 1, because his request for a peaceful protest was denied by the police. The case will be heard this Thursday, December 2, before a judge in chambers. In a press conference on Wednesday, December 1, Dev Sunassy once again denounced the amendments to the IBA Act and stressed that he will alert foreign bodies to the dangers that such a law could bring to democracy.
