It is a vision of horror that appeared this Tuesday, February 1st under the eyes of a 30 years old policeman. On his way home that evening in Quatre-Bornes, he saw his wife in flames in the living room.
The officer did not hesitate to put out the fire, especially since the woman was eight months pregnant. He also carried her to the bathroom before taking her to the emergency room at the Victoria Hospital in Candos.
Admitted to the Burn Unit, the woman had to undergo a delicate surgical procedure. According to our information, she and the child are doing well for the moment. But we still have to wait for new tests.
However, a police investigation is underway to find out the exact circumstances of the tragedy.
Her husband does not hide his concern.
