Trainer Vincent Allet concluded the meeting with a second winner. His horse Canary Island won it with a pillar to post. South African jockey Bernard Fayd’herbe took the good decision to grab the lead by overcoming easily his stable companion, Jet Path. The cat was then in the bag for Canary Island who sprinted well in the straight to score his first win in Mauritius easily.
