Apprentice Alvino Roy pointed to the sky as he passed the line first on board of Cyber Special to pay tribute to deceased Mauritian jockey Nooresh Juglall. It was Roy’s first ride for trainer Gilbert Rousset who was Juglall’s employer. Cyber Special had a dream race on the fence behind the leader. He took advantage of the inside run in the straight and ran on to win easily in front of Trip To The Sky.
