After its victory in Australia (2-0), Japan has obtained its ticket for the World Cup in 2022, qualifying at the same time Saudi Arabia.
In total, 32 teams, including 13 European, will participate in the World Cup 2022. Qatar is already assured of its participation as host country, so 31 other countries must obtain their qualification in the coming weeks, through the qualifiers organized on each continent. The decisive moment for the African teams
After a group phase that has already left many big African teams on the sidelines, such as South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea and Gabon, the time has come for the dreaded play-offs for the African zone to determine the five countries that will qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar (November 21 – December 18). The shocks are legion after the draw and there will be, whatever happens, breakage for some. Here is the program of these play-offs and all the useful information. The play-offs of the African zone will begin with the first leg on Friday, March 25. The return matches will take place on Tuesday, March 29.
