War In Ukraine: Vladimir Putin Calls On Ukrainian Military To Overthrow President Zelensky

Must Read

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday called on the Ukrainian military to “take power” in Kiev by overthrowing President Volodymyr Zelensky and his entourage, whom he called “neo-Nazis” and “drug addicts”. “Take the power in your hands. It seems to me that it will be easier to negotiate between you and me,” said Putin to the Ukrainian army in a speech broadcast on Russian television.

Vladimir Putin said Friday that he was ready to send a delegation for talks with Ukraine in Minsk. Explosions and bursts of gunfire echoed in the capital, Kiev. According to the Ukrainian army, Russian ground troops are approaching from the north and east, after a night of shelling. The population is called to take up arms.

Ukraine targeted by a phishing campaign

The Ukrainian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), a government agency tasked with resolving crisis situations on the Internet, denounced on Friday a phishing e-mail campaign directed against Ukrainian citizens, and, in particular, military personnel.

The Ukrainian CERT attributed this phishing attempt to a group called “UNC1151”, and suspected to be an emanation of the Belarusian or Russian services. This is the same group that Kiev had accused when several government sites were downed in January.
