Malini Sewocksingh is now a ‘style and image consultant’. The former PMSD member of parliament for constituency 17 is going into business for herself to take better care of your look. Is she done with politics?
She’s ready. Freshly graduated from the London Image Institute after a year of training, Malini is embarking on a new adventure.
Image coach, she offers to Mauritians to make themselves beautiful: “With Covid-19, many people work from home and tend to neglect themselves. That’s where I come in with my advice. I go to their homes and help them feel good about themselves. I offer my services to both ladies and gentlemen, who by the way, are more and more picky about their look.
The consultant also works with companies: “Each company has its own DNA. So I make sure that it has a visual signature that corresponds to it.
And politics in all this? “I haven’t turned the page. Far from it, I am still active in my constituency and within the Mauritian Social Democratic Party (PMSD), which has just appointed me as its new treasurer. Politics is a passion that I do not intend to abandon,” explains the former blue MP from 2014 to 2019.
