Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued a statement pinpointing things that are prohibited for pilgrims to carry when traveling by plane to perform Hajj.
According to the statement, the Saudi Government divided the prohibited materials and tools that the pilgrim are prohibited from carrying in their luggage into 4 sections. Here is a list of items that are banned from being carried at the Hajj pilgrimage.
1 – Sharp tools:
Sharp tools such as scissors, knives, scalpel and razor blades are not allowed to be carried.
2 – Working/hand tools:
Construction tools such as wrenches, drills, hammers and steel nails are forbidden.
3 – Firearms:
Avoid carrying any kind of firearms such as which include weapons, guns, fireworks and stun gun
4 – Other items:
Toxic substances, flammable materials and compressed products are a strict no-no.
