She is one of those who see life in pink… blue, yellow, green or more. Graphic designer by training, Sapna Kissoondoyal titillates the brushes to paint life in color!
Art has always been in her blood. Right down to her fingertips, when you know that she never really knew how to put away her pencils: “I have always been attracted by the artistic world. That’s why I decided to become a graphic designer. And when you do this job, the line to become an artist is so thin that you do it without necessarily realizing it. I did it myself in 2019 for a painting. And since then, I haven’t been able to stop. This passion has also allowed me to make myself known through exhibitions.”
Inspired by nature, the artist has just launched Koleksion lokal – an ode to her country: “Mauritius is culturally so rich that I wanted to dedicate an entire collection called Koleksion lokal. ”
If for the moment the young woman sells her paintings via her visual gallery, she dreams of opening one in person: “I would love to have my own gallery. I am working on it and it will be a beautiful reality one day.”
