A police operation mounted by the men of the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) of Moka this Thursday afternoon of October 14 resulted in the uprooting of 808 cannabis plants in a forest in Sans-Souci, Montagne-Blanche. The market value of these plants is estimated at Rs 2 724 000.
It is on the basis of certain information provided by the men of the sergeant Balooa of the ADSU of Moka that this raid in this forest in Sans-Souci was carried out towards 1 p.m. this Thursday October 14. This exercise was possible thanks to the logistic support of the police helicopter. It is after these plants were spotted that this team of the ADSU went down in this forest.
The uprooted plants were then transported to the ADSU headquarters at the Central Barracks. There were a total of 908 plants measuring between 30 centimeters and 2 meters.
An investigation was initiated in order to identify the alleged grower of these plants.
