The official communiqué of Mauritius Telecom (MT) of this Thursday morning states that “Kapil Reesaul, CEO of Mauritius Telecom, is laying down in his very first week the first milestones of his strategy to lead the company into this new era of digitalization and rethink its modes of operation. One of the company’s priorities is to continue to improve its products and services with the objective of surpassing its customers’ expectations.” As part of this exercise, the management was able to persuade Girish Guddoy to retract his resignation. The latter resumes his position as Chief Technical Officer and Yagianath Rosunnee, with 30 years of experience at Mauritius Telecom, takes over the functions of Acting Chief Technical Officer and will oversee the development and implementation of Mauritius Telecom’s network plan and strategy. These decisions took effect on Thursday 04 August.
