He is due to return to the country soon. He will stay in a hotel before. He is said to have had a conversation with Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The latter met Dhaneshwar Damry.
A post on his Facebook page Ramgoolam Gen-Next says the former Prime Minister had consultations with doctors on Tuesday. They are satisfied with the progress of his recovery. Further consultations are scheduled for later this week.
He was discharged on Monday, September 20, from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi and transferred to a hotel to avoid further risk of infection in the hospital.
