Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and his delegation received a warm welcome from the public upon their arrival in Rajkot, Gujarat. A jubilant crowd gathered at the Rajkot airport and waved Mauritian and Indian flags along the route of the Prime Ministerial motorcade.
The Prime Minister is currently on an official visit to India. He has a very busy agenda in Gujarat. On Tuesday, April 19, he will participate in the groundbreaking ceremony of the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in the presence of his Indian counterpart, Shri Narendra Modi and the WHO Director General, Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus in the city of Jamnagar.
On Wednesday, April 20, Mr. Pravind Jugnauth will address the Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit at Gandhi Nagar.
He will also have meetings with dignitaries during his stay in Gujarat.
