The Salon d’Août is back after a 4-year absence, mainly due to the Covid 19. From 15 to 25 August, 18 exhibitors will be showing some thirty photographs at Le Hub – Phoenix. This year, the image hunters will be exploring still life, with the colour yellow as their main theme.

The Cercle des Artistes Photographes (C.A.P) has kept a low profile for the last 4 years. For their big comeback, the association has chosen still life as the theme for this 27ᵉ edition of the Salon d’Août: “We have new members and we had to find a compromise so that everyone could take part. So we turned to the natural world with an imposed difficulty, namely opting for a perfectly white or black background. All with the colour yellow as a common thread,” explains Jerry Layduhur, the association’s public relations manager.
The exhibition is open to the public until 25 August.
As a reminder, the C.A.P. will be celebrating its 45th anniversary next year, and several exhibitions are planned.
