Xavier-Luc Duval, the leader of the opposition has filed a request to the Speaker for today’s parliamentary session to be devoted to the health situation in the country. Therefore, he will not table a PNQ.
In his letter, Xavier-Luc Duval explains that the system is outdated, the number of deaths and positive cases is worrying, the staff is tired, the equipment is lacking (oxygen tanks have been imported from Reunion Island), while waiting for help from abroad, 92% of the people intubated at the ENT died.
