Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Said, who became the Sultan in Oman last year, went on his first official overseas trip to Saudi Arabia on Sunday to talk about procedures concerning the Yemen war and economic and investment cooperation. Oman is also working with the United Nations to stop the Yemen war.
According to Saudi-owned media, the Sultan was greeted by Saudi King Salman in his first face-to-face meeting since the pandemic started. During the visit Saudi Arabia and Oman signed a document to establish a joint coordination council to oversee several agreements.
