No Curfew In Rodrigues; Elections Coming

The sanitary curfew has ended this Thursday morning in Rodrigues. Sign of relief for the people of Rodrigues. The health curfew was introduced to curb the spread of Covid-19 on 28th January. It has elapsed at 6 am this morning. However, the office of the chief commissioner said in a statement issued yesterday that some health rules are still in force. In particular, the wearing of masks and the respect of physical distance remain in force. Election of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly is scheduled on this Sunday 27 February.
