Talented, jovial, and helpful, Nasreen Banu-Ahseek is a professional painter who has been participating in different Arts exhibition. She is one of the most promising lady artists in Mauritius. Fond of any kind of art, Nasreen is an Urdu teacher but always finds time to showcase her talent in terms of her paintings.
She has recently done the paintings of the cover of several books, namely Bandari, Aqeedah, Gassy Sobdar, all written by Mr Assad Bhuglah. She was the jury for the competition of ‘Zenes Montrer to Talent’, on Sunday 13 June.
She has been fond of painting since a young age. She studied Arts in college. During lockdown, she had more time to paint and completed paintings for the cover of two books.
Despite being an accomplished wife and mother, she always finds time to indulge in some social activities. According to some friends of Nasreen, she has a golden heart always helping people without expecting anything in return. Nasreen also had the opportunity to gift two paintings to the Honourable Prime Minister of Mauritius, Pravind Kumar Jugnauth.
