The world might see X CEO Elon Musk battle out with Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg. X’s new CEO Musk has announced in a post that the planned cage match with Zuckerberg will be broadcast live on social media network X, earlier known as Twitter.
Since June, the owners of the social media have been encouraging a mixed martial arts cage fight in Las Vegas.
The Musk vs. Zuck fight will be broadcast live on X. Without providing any other information, Musk stated in a post on X early on Sunday morning that all earnings would be donated to a veterans’ organisation.
On early Sunday, Musk posted on X that that he was “lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight”, and as he lack time for workout, he brings weights to work. When asked by a user that why he would fight, he replied, “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war”.
Users of X started a furore after Musk announced in a post on June 20 post that he was “up for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, who is trained in jiujitsu.
A day later, Musk, 51, was asked to “send location” for the proposed fight by Zuckerberg, 39, who has shared images of victories on his company’s Instagram platform. Musk responded, “Vegas Octagon,” referring to an arena where mixed martial arts (MMA) championship fights are held.
Musk then declared that if the cage fight materialised, he would begin training.
