An investigation has been opened at the Terre-Rouge police station to shed light on the circumstances under which a motorcyclist was seriously injured at the Khoyratty traffic circle in Terre-Rouge on Sunday evening, April 16. The 42-year-old man, who was unconscious, was taken care of by the personnel of an ambulance of the Service d’Aide Médicale d’Urgence (Samu) before being taken to the northern hospital. He was admitted to the surgical room and placed on artificial ventilation due to lack of space in the intensive care unit.
It was around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, April 16, that the Terre Rouge police station was informed of a serious accident at the Khoyratty traffic circle. Arriving on the scene a red Yamaha motorcycle was lying in the middle of the road. The driver who was seriously injured and unconscious was already transported to the northern hospital on board an ambulance of the Samu.
The seriously damaged motorcycle was transported to the Terre Rouge police station for examination. The driver was identified by his identification card that was in his possession. After treatment the driver was still unconscious. He was admitted to the surgical room and placed on artificial ventilation due to lack of space in the intensive care unit. Blood was taken from the patient for analysis.
