1450m (0-25): Favourite but beaten on his first outing in Mauritius, Al Jazeera set the record straight this time. He was the quicker after the opening of the gates and took the lead easily. Jockey Pravesh Horil relaxed him in front and he was full of running in the final straight. Al Jazeera shifted out and gave up some ground in the last 100m. He held on gamely to win by a whisker in front of Greatfivewight.
