He won all his seven races in Mauritius so far. Walls Of Dubrovnik will try to go one better on Sunday at the Champ-de-mars racecourse. But thing will get tougher as he will line up against better horse.
Walls Of Dubrovnik started in Benchmark 31 and he has five wins in 2021. He added two more wins to his tally this season. He showed that he could race in front, follow off the pace or even race from the back before coming to the finish. He will have all the cards in hand to snatch his eight straight wins. He will have all the options open starting from gate number 2.
A race is never won and Walls Of Dubrovnik will have to beat even tougher opponents. One of the most serious contenders is Marauding. The Ramapatee Gujadhur-trained horse has a devastating finish. He displayed excellent physical condition in training, but the only problem is that he will make his comeback after ten months. He might need that run, but he will be right there.
Beware of Dynamite Jack. He ran well on his second outing this season, taking third place behind Padre Pio. Dynamite Jack was beaten by 2.72L by Walls of Dubrovnik on race meeting 9. He is in a better shape this time and Dynamite Jack will be reunited with the Mauritian jockey Jameer Allyhosain with whom he won four of his five wins in Mauritius. Iditarod Trail will be a good outsider. He was not unworthy during his comeback race finishing fourth behind Padre Pio. He progressed with this race under the belt, and he will be a big runner this time. Bless My Path is an excellent finisher who will try to upset the odds with his lightweight.
