The heavy rain on Satuday morning in Port-Louis had a negative impact on the Champ-de-mars racecourse’s track. The 7th race meeting which was scheduled on Saturday has been postponed to Sunday the 27th of June.
The Mauritius Turf Club Sports and Leisure LTD (MTCSL) spoke to the Mauritius Meteorological Services and with the horse trainers association before taking the decision to postpone the race meeting.
The last and most important step was to get the approval of the Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA). The MTCSL has made a request and got the green light from the GRA.
