A Bois-Chéri resident, who was replacing sheet metal on a kiosk in Trou aux Cerfs, suffered an accidental fall this Tuesday, June 14, when a strong wind suddenly blew. The 40-year-old man fell on a scaffolding before ending up on the ground. Injured, the 40-year-old was taken to Jawaharlall Nehru Hospital in Rose-Belle for treatment. Afterwards, he returned to his home.
It was shortly before 10:00 am this Tuesday, June 14, that a team of police officers from the Curepipe police station went to Trou aux Cerfs, after receiving a request concerning a work accident. A helper, who was working on the roof of a kiosk in Trou aux Cerfs, had fallen while replacing old sheet metal on a kiosk.
Following a strong wind, the Bois-Chéri resident was thrown. He fell on a scaffolding and was on the ground. When the police arrived, he explained that he was suffering from pain all over his body. He was taken to the Rose-Belle hospital for treatment. He was later allowed to return home.
