Preparations for the Ganesh Chaturthi festival are almost complete. The festival will be celebrated this Friday 10 September and Saturday 11 September by the Hindu community in Mauritius as in other countries around the world. On the sidelines of this celebration, we interviewed a devotee and the Acharya Sooklall Pandit (MSK). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, devotees are asked to adhere to the health measures in place, such as social distancing and wearing masks. In addition, the number of 50 people at the places of worship and immersion must be respected.
