A penalty not converted by Marco Dorza in the 58th minute of play has cost the victory to the Club M of Tony Francois against the Seychelles during a friendly match played this Saturday, March 19 in Côte d’Or.
The Club M had however multiplied the offensive attempts. But the Seychelles defenders pushed back everything. Tony Francois, the coach of Club M, made several changes in the second half but the Mauritians could never finish effectively.
At the end of the game, in the 88th minute, the Seychelles goalkeeper, Alvin Michel, made a great save to turn the ball into a corner after an excellent shot from the left by David Aristide.
The next two games of Club M will be played in Côte d’Or on March 24 and 27. These games will count for the preliminary round of the CAN 2023 and will be played in closed.
