As of January 1, 2024, MCB Ltd has a new Chief, Executive Officer (CEO), in the person of Thierry Hebraud. He replaces Alain Law Min, who retired on December 31, 2023.
Thierry Hebraud’s career with MCB began in October 2019, when he took on the role of Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), with responsibility for the Global and International Corporates, Specialised Finance, Mauritian and Regional Corporates, Financial Institutions and Syndication, Global Transaction Banking, Credit Analysis and Structuring, Middle Office, and Business Development teams covering all major local and international clients, as well as dedicated products, services and support units.
Aged 60, Thierry Hebraud brings to MCB a solid expertise forged over a 38-year career in Corporate and Investment Banking.
His career has been marked by high-level positions within the Crédit Agricole Group. He was Deputy President and Board Member in Moscow, CEO – Senior Country Officer in India, Thailand, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and Head of Corporate Banking in Egypt. He also held important positions at the head of Crédit Lyonnais in Russia, Poland and France.
