The Festival Fam Océan Indien is a unique festival. And for good reason, this festival which will be held on July 1st at the Domaine Labourdonnais will give pride of place to women from here and elsewhere. The event will be held from 11am to midnight.

A 100% female festival. This is the challenge that the Sharp 11 events company and its director Thierry Delord intends to take up: “The idea has been in my head since 2015. That is to say, since I discovered the Amazons group which is exclusively composed of women. Little by little, we have built the project until its completion this year.
On stage, the public will discover 40 women artists from the Indian Ocean: “Several artists will take turns on stage to ensure a musical entertainment unusual from 18h. Mauritians will find on stage artists such as Kalipsxau (Reunion Island), Melanie Pères, Caroline Jodun, La Nikita, Jasmine Toulouse, Mary Jane Gaspard, Caro Perne Tracy, MCDS, Missty (Reunion Island), Tiana (Madagascar), Alexandra Augustin (Rodrigues), Antoinette Dodin (Seychelles), Eldiana (Rodrigues), Tazou (Rodrigues). Marie Josée Clency will be the dean. Note that these artists will be accompanied by Les Amazone and Mystik G – two orchestras composed entirely of women. Note that the event will also host several women entrepreneurs and their handcrafted products. A food corner will also be set up.
