Parents whose children will be 3 years old by 31 December 2022 are invited to register them for the start of the school year in January 2023. Registration will take place in the public Pre-Primary Unit closest to their residence. Registration will take place from 5 to 30 September 2022 from 09.30 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 15.00. Parents must bring the originals and copies of the following documents
- Their national identity card
- The child’s birth certificate
- Proof of address.
In case the demand exceeds the available places in a Pre-Primary unit, the ECCEA reserves the right to allocate places according to the address of residence. However, parents will be offered an alternative in such cases. If the required documents are not available, parents are asked to contact the Early Childhood Care and Education Authority office on 460 4278.
