On Thursday morning the case against compulsory vaccination and the consent form ended. Joseph Marion, a school van driver, is calling for the annulment of the regulation making vaccination compulsory to access schools and health facilities. Activist Deenarain Lokee is asking that the mandatory consent form be declared null and void. Both are represented by lawyer Lovena Sowkhee and solicitor Kaviraj Bokhoree. Pleadings took place last week. The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education had the opportunity to rebuke the arguments made this Thursday. They did so in writing. The judges reserved their judgment. The Supreme Court will deliver the judgment in due time.
