Marie Louise Sophie, 82 years old, also known as Marie, born on August 25, 1939, on St. Louis Day, met a tragic end at her home in St. Luc Residence, Forest-Side on Sunday evening, November 14. This octogenarian suffered a fatal fall down the stairs of her home.
It was around 7:30 pm in the early evening of Sunday, October 14 that her granddaughter made this macabre discovery. She had gone to get news from her grandmother when she found her unconscious on her back at the foot of the stairs. After alerting her relatives, an ambulance from the Emergency Medical Service was called. Unfortunately, the doctor on board was only able to confirm the victim’s death.
