The Reform Party’s leader, Roshi Bhadain, announced on Friday night at a meeting in Beau-Bassin. According to the Reform Party leader, drugs are wreaking havoc on many families across the island. For him, the battle is far from won if appropriate measures are not applied to send a strong signal to those involved in this trade.
Another subject addressed by Roshi Bhadain was the payment of various social benefits. This money, he says, comes out of the pockets of taxpayers, not the government. He asked the public not to be fooled. For real change, we need to get rid of Navin Paul and Pravind, he says.
RP leader Roshi Bhadain did not comment on the split with Patrick Belcourt, leader of En Avant Moris (EAM).
At the end of his meeting, Roshi Badhain announced that this rally marked the start of the Reform Party’s campaign for the next general election next year.
