In the last 24 hours, the deaths of 3 positive patients admitted to the New ENT have been reported to the police. Since Monday and Tuesday, a total of six deaths was reported. The rate of positive cases has dropped considerably from 344 to 146 as of Wednesday. Rodrigues has 79 positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Three more victims on Wednesday. The victims of the ENT Hospital are two men aged 62, 75 and a woman aged 45. All three patients had co-morbidities and the two men were not vaccinated. The New ENT Hospital reports that most of the admissions are unvaccinated patients with Booster dose. As a reminder, of the six other deaths of positive patients admitted to New ENT, three were under 70 years of age and 3 were over 70 years of age and one was 92 years of age living in Forest-Side. The majority of these six deaths were unvaccinated and had co-morbidities.
The million mark this Thursday?
According to the Ministry of Health’s daily statement, there were 146 new cases and 52 admissions, of which two were to the ENT Hospital and 50 to regional hospitals. In terms of discharges, the New ENT Hospital has two on Wednesday, and the five regional hospitals have 40 people considered cured. In terms of vaccinations, we will probably reach the million marks by Thursday 03.
