The Ministry of Health and Welfare laboratories have completed testing of 1,422 PCR tests as of 5:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
- 8 cases were detected at the COVID-19 Testing Centre of Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital. In 7 cases the epidemiological links have already been established, 1 case remains under investigation. These cases have been identified in the following locations:
- Rose-Belle – 2 cases
- Britannia – 1 case
- Union Park – 1 case
- Nouvelle France – 2 cases
- Cluny – 2 cases
- 1 case was detected on Day 7 in the quarantine center.
- 2 cases were detected through ongoing Contact Tracing exercises. These patients were already in quarantine on Day 0.
1,475 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5 and 1,108 of them, considered cured, have been able to return to
1,108 of them have returned to their homes and are considered cured.
To date, the country has 346 active cases of COVID-19.
