The Department of Health and Welfare laboratories completed testing of 1,022 PCR tests at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6.
- 1 case was detected on Day 7 in quarantine.
- 6 cases were detected on Day 14. These were 4 patients quarantined in an Isolation Ward at Brown Sequard Hospital and 2 staff members in the same ward working under the same health protocol.
- 3 cases were detected at the COVID-19 Testing Centre at SSRN Hospital. Epidemiological links have already been established.
- 4 cases have been detected through ongoing Contact Tracing exercises.
1,391 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5, and 1,083 of them have returned home as cured.
To date, there are 288 active cases of COVID-19 in the country.
