Covid 19: 252 New Cases And 80 Admissions In Mauritius ; Rodrigues Increases To 116 Positive Cases

Mauritius is closer to the 300-case mark on 24 February. We have 252 positive cases in the last 24 hours. 77 people have been admitted to regional hospitals and 3 to ENT hospital. In addition, 30 positive patients from the hospitals have recovered and have been allowed to return home. Mauritius has 30,601 infections since March 2021 against 26,791 cured cases. In terms of vaccination, 997,525 people are primed, 959,272 are doubled and 485,546 people have completed their vaccination schedule. In Rodrigues, the total has risen to 8,203 cases, with 116 cases added for this Thursday. With 5,937 cases cured, the number of active cases is 2,252. Since 26 January, the island has suffered 13 victims. The curfew was lifted on Thursday morning.
