The laboratories of the Ministry of Health and Welfare carried out analyzes of 902 PCR tests at 6 p.m. this afternoon.
- 3 cases were detected on Day 7 in quarantine. These patients were negative on admission.
- 8 cases were detected following the Contact Tracing exercises in progress. These patients were already in quarantine on Day 0.
- 5 cases were detected following a targeted screening exercise (Winner’s de Rose-Belle).
Following the detection of positive cases among the staff of Winner’s de Rose-Belle, the Ministry of Health and Welfare strongly invites all those who have visited this supermarket during the last 12 days to be tested.
A screening exercise is scheduled at the Plaisance Shopping Mall in Rose-Belle, tomorrow, Thursday, June 17, 2021, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
1,098 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5, and 680 of them considered cured have been able to return home.
The country currently has 401 active cases of COVID-19 and as of this afternoon 43 of them were admitted to New ENT Hospital, either for mild symptoms, or due to pre-existing comorbidities requiring medical surveillance.
