The Department of Health and Welfare laboratories have completed the analysis of 1,547 PCR tests as of 5 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
- 20 cases were detected in COVID-19 Testing Centers.
- 2 cases were detected through ongoing Contact Tracing exercises.
Contact Tracing teams from the Department of Health and Welfare also conducted a targeted testing exercise in 1 dormitory.
This building is under strict health surveillance and operates as a quarantine center to isolate residents from the local community.
The targeted screening exercise detected 90 positive cases.
The residents of the dormitory are all vaccinated against COVID-19.
Those tested positives are completely asymptomatic.
2,798 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5, and 1,340 of them have returned to their homes as cured.
The country currently has 1,436 active cases of COVID-19.
