This Saturday, the Pa Tous Nou Sim Card movement is inviting everyone to take part in a citizens’ demonstration.
Tomorrow at 1pm, it will start in front of the Cathédrale St-Louis and end at the Jardin de La Compagnie.
Members of the collective pointed out that the re-registration process violated citizens’ privacy when they spoke to the media this morning. An appeal was therefore made to the entire population.
Activist Percy Yip Tong took the floor and declared that 60% of users had not yet completed this exercise. According to the activist, “Pouvwar dan lame sa 60%-la”.
Furthermore, he urged all legislators and activists to join the protest.
