The draw for the Champions League group stage delivered its verdict on Thursday. Paris Saint-Germain have inherited a very tough group. For their part, Lens will face Arsenal. Bayern with Manchester United, Real with Napoli Manchester City, winners of the last edition, will play RB Leipzig, Red Star and Young Boys. In Group A, Bayern Munich and Manchester United are the favourites to face FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray. Real Madrid and Italian champions Napoli are also expected to battle it out for the top two places in Group C, which also features Braga and Union Berlin. In the Champions League group stage, Luis Enrique’s side will face Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan and Newcastle.
Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid will have their work cut out against Feyenoord, Lazio Rome and Celtic Glasgow. For their part, FC Barcelona have inherited FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk and Royal Antwerp.
