Two races, two good results. Noa a Bibi recorded times of 10.35 secs and 20.78 secs in the 100 m and 200 m respectively at the African Games Trials held last Friday at the Maryse Justin stadium in Réduit. He was also the only sprinter to go under 10.50 secs in the 100m and 21 secs in the 200m.
On the women’s side, Machella Février’s 5.58m performance in the long jump stood out.
Several Algerian athletes also took part in the event, and their performances were remarkable. Zahra Tatar’s hammer throw was 67m90, Nabila Bounab’s discus throw was 49m91 and Zouina Bouzebra’s shot put was 11m80.
