Accident In Pailles : The Truck Driver Arrested

Parmanand Beeharry, the truck driver involved in the accident in Pailles on Wednesday December 27, was arrested by Pailles police on Thursday December 28. His truck, registration 1253 CZ 10, was on its way to the capital when the accident occurred. It collided with four other vehicles. In the presence of his lawyer, Parmanand Beeharry, a resident of Highlands, was questioned by Pailles police about the circumstances of the accident. He gave details of his route prior to the accident. The truck driver, employed by a company specializing in the transport of scrap metal, is facing charges of involuntary injury and failure to comply with the Highway Code. The police are trying to find the owner of the truck. He will be called to explain the state of his vehicle. The Central Barracks, in conjunction with the National Land Transport Authority, have established that the truck did not have a valid fitness certificate. A part of the police investigation, led by Inspector Soobul and Chief Inspector Sungkur, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Bhunoo, will focus on this aspect.
