It is a 39-year-old man who lives in a southern village. On his return from a trip to India, there was various lesions on several parts of his body. He was brought to Rose-Belle hospital. According to health authorities, it is a suspected case of monkey pox. Thus, the thirty-year-old underwent a series of examinations after his transfer to the hospital of Souillac. The samples were sent to La Réunion for analysis. The results will be available in less than 24 hours. We understand that the patient was able to return home. He was accompanied home by the Rapid Response Team of the Ministry of Health. Currently, he is in isolation at home. According to the Ministry of Health, apart from his injuries, the patient is doing well.
