Several Hindu socio-cultural associations of Mauritius met this Saturday, October 23 in the streets of Port-Louis. The demonstrators want to alert the public opinion about the violence perpetrated in Bangladesh against the minorities, especially against the Hindu community.
With placards and banners in hand, they wanted to denounce this indiscriminate violence against the Hindus of Bangladesh. There were numerous to march in the streets of the capital to say ‘no’ to the violence which rages in Bangladesh against the Hindu minorities.
The organizers are satisfied with the success of the march and hope that it will bring a change, because according to them, our country is known for its living together and its cultural diversity.
