The first edition of the Coupe de slam poésie 2023 will be held on August 26 at the Cœur de ville Flacq starting at 12:30 pm. Participants of all ages have until August 18 to register.

With the slam league coming to an end at the end of July, Jemima Marius aka Fearless wanted to continue the adventure with words. That’s how she came up with the idea of organizing the Poetry Slam Cup. “I’ve been slamming for two years and I’m passionate about words. With this passion, I wanted to hold the Coupe de slam poésie, which will be in its first edition this year. Slammers of all ages have until August 18 to register. Please note that there is no set theme. However, participants must submit two long texts of 3 minutes 10 seconds. A winner will be chosen according to the points awarded by the jury. For the occasion, I’ll be the event’s slam master. ”
Sponsored by Coeur de Ville Flacq and Yeo’s, the winner will go home with a prize pack.
