The group Sega nou ancet is making a hit with its title Sakouy li amor. These young people from Pointe aux Piments have other singles and an album in the pot.
The radios play the title to death … The title Sakouy li amor has conquered the hearts of lovers of the good old sega. The paradox is that it is the young people who have stuck to it.
Yansley Barbe – the group’s lead singer – tells us all about it: “It all started in the parish choir. I was already part of a typical sega group when I invited some members of the choir to start a sega group. That was three years ago, and that’s how the group Séga nou ancet was born.”
Wanting to hit hard for their first single, the group called upon a hit maker in the person of Dénis Fricot: “Sakouy li amor was written by Denis Fricot. I am the proud interpreter of this song.
With this success, the group plans to release other singles: “We will release other singles very soon. An album is also on the agenda,” says Yansley.
