A police investigation has been opened at the Plaine-Magnien police station into an alleged case of abortion. This is after the police station was alerted to a case of a 20 year old woman. This one, who lives in the village of Le Bouchon, was admitted to the Jawaharlall Nehru Hospital of Rose-Belle where she was placed under police surveillance.
It was around 6:30 am this Tuesday, November 15 that a police officer went to the bedside of this patient. She was admitted with a history of alleged abortions. She was examined by two doctors at this hospital. These doctors removed two pills from her private area.
The fetus was taken to the Victoria Hospital morgue in Candos for autopsy. The two pills were seized as evidence. The patient has not been able to give a statement so far. She is under the surveillance of a policewoman.
