At least 15 people were killed after a gunman started shooting in a school in central Russia on Monday. While around 20 were injured, the dead included kids from the school in the incident that took place in Izhevsk city on Monday.
As the students and staff became aware of the shooting, they started evacuating while the rescue and security services were yet to arrive. Surprisingly, the shooter, a former pupil of the school, killed himself at the site.
Videos of the incident posted on social media show students in a panic situation running berserk as the shooting was continuing. Staff and students have been evacuated from the school.

The attacker, named Artem Kazantsev, was born in 1988. Reportedly, he was armed with two pistols. The state investigators posted a video online according to which the gunman, who was already dead, wore a T-shirt with a Nazi symbol and a balaclava. His body was later recovered by the police.
“Today, immediately after the police received a report of a shooting at school No. 88 in the city of Izhevsk, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Udmurt Republic went to the scene and attempted to detain the suspect. As of now, the police have found the body of the man who opened fire,” Sputnik reported, citing the police. However, the motive of the gunman behind the shooting is not yet found.
