Marula returned to the stable injured on his last outing. Everything went smoothly for him this time as he won his first race in Mauritius on Saturday. Marula was the quicker to start and he hit the front with Zenzero and Follow Suit chasing him. Marula was challenged by newcomer Courtroom Magic in the last 100m. But, he fought well to win by a short margin.
